Job Description

The Marketing Communications Officer manages the department, handling complex marketing, communication, and administrative tasks that require an understanding of company operations. They exercise independent judgment and make decisions delegated by their supervisor. Their main goal is to reduce the supervisor’s workload by developing communication strategies that promote the organisation and its services. This includes conducting market research, designing graphics, brochures, fact sheets, and promotional materials for digital and print channels. They also conduct research, create content for publications, prepare presentations and speeches for employees, summarise data, draft reports, and ensure regulatory compliance. Operating under a supervisor, they must use tact, discretion, and judgment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute, as directed, to the development of marketing and communications activities through list and lead research, marketing planning research and implementation;

  • Administer marketing and communications programmes and campaigns for a range of stakeholders and Company products and services, assisting in the evaluation of performance and impact on the digital and print platforms channels;

  • Implement the annual budget in alignment with the company’s objectives and goals;

  • Develop lists of potential contacts for marketing and promotion of company services from a range of channels, including but not limited to community magazines, digital newsletter platforms, exhibitions and external sources;

  • Support the Manager and teams with the ideas of design for marketing collaterals such as flyers, banners and adverts; and the promotion of branch activities and media relations evaluation;

  • Manage the marketing and communications programmes and campaigns for a range of stakeholders and Company products and services, assisting in the evaluation of performance and impact; and

  • Attend meetings & professional development activities.

The Successful Applicant

Given the responsibilities of overseeing the company’s marketing and communications, including branding in the Real Estate Industry, candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in the Marketing Communications Role in the Real Estate Industry, complemented by a substantial mid-level track record in the real estate sector. Furthermore, applicants must hold the Agent Representative Certificate. Advanced management skills are imperative, demonstrating a proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and to solve problems proactively in a multidisciplinary setting. Additionally, candidates should have the requisite ability and experience to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executive management, client agencies, consultants, and other pertinent entities.
