Job Description

A digital media designer endeavours to communicate specific messages, ideas, or concepts through visual means and specialises in artistic and professional disciplines dedicated to visual communication and presentation. These include drawing, painting, photography, digital media, or a combination of these methods, used to create and integrate symbols, images, and text. Such visual representations convey ideas and messages, predominantly across digital channels, advertisements, marketing media, websites, and public displays, with the aim of transmitting the company’s objectives, particularly within the Real Estate Industry. A designer in this role works under a supervisor’s guidance and is expected to exercise significant tact, discretion, and judgment. A digital media designer will work closely with the team using the Adobe Creative Cloud. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce multiple examples of digital media design work that respond effectively to different design challenges;

  • Engage with the design process by developing design solutions through research, reflection and the generation and refinement of ideas within the real estate industry;

  • Design, layout and format marketing and communications materials across the organisation;

  • Upholding the highest standards in digital media design and generating innovative creative content for both print and digital formats that accurately reflect the company’s expectations;

  • Design and execute a new look and feel across all digital and print material that accurately reflects new brand positioning; and

  • Attend meetings & professional development activities.

The Successful Applicant

Given the responsibilities of designing and implementing multimedia design concepts, including branding in the Real Estate Industry, candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in digital media design in the Real Estate Industry. Furthermore, applicants must hold the Agent Representative Certificate. Advanced management skills are imperative, demonstrating a proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and to solve problems proactively in a multidisciplinary setting. Additionally, candidates should have the requisite ability and experience to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executive management, client agencies, consultants, and other pertinent entities.
